Facebook Changes…For The Worse…Again!

Facebook Live FeedYou may have noticed something different about your Facebook news feed a few days ago. Yes, Facebook sensed that you may have finally got used to how the page worked and thought it was time to give everyone something new to complain about. Once again Facebook have changed the news feed and once again there are a lot of upset Facebook users and groups.

I generally find Facebook to not be very user friendly and the most recent changes confirm this. You now have two options of how to view your Facebook feed:

1. News Feed – Shows you a tiny selection of updates posted by friends based on “popularity” and generally includes updates that are at least 2 hours old. Popularity is based on comments and likes, both of which you won’t receive as people won’t see your posts as they’re not popular enough to appear in their feed in the first place.

2. Live Feed – See EVERY single thing your friends do, including but not limited to, becoming fans of groups that you don’t care about, befriending people you don’t know and accepting event invitations that have nothing to do with you.

You might be thinking, “it’s all good, I’ll just use the ‘Highlights’ section to see what interests me.” Well, that’s gone too!

Why can’t we just have a live news feed that doesn’t include every single thing everyone on Facebook does? Surely this could at least be an option, rather than giving us the option to see everything, or only see some things posted 8 hours ago? Couldn’t they have just left it the way it was?!
