iPhone 3.0 Firmware
The new 3.0 firmware is released this week (17th June most likely 18th June in Australia), so get ready for an improvement user experience and functionality including MMS, copy and paste and landscape keyboard. Not to mention the new apps that will now follow, including TomTom GPS for the iPhone.

Twitpocalypse
You’ve probably heard all about what was meant to be the end of Twitter this week (13th June). It was all a load of hype surrounding the failure of Twitter due to a Y2K’esque issue. Not much happened and no one was really affected. Some Twitterific users may have experienced some updates before updating their app.

Loading ...Internet Explorer
Windows 7 is to be released later this year, but in Europe, it won’t include Internet Explorer built in due to competition rules. After finally releasing a half decent web browser in IE8, Windows won’t be able to force it onto consumers as they would normally. Maybe it would have finally got rid of the remnants of IE6.
